What Students Will Learn
Instruction includes computer aided design, architectural design, civil planning, 3D-modeling, and manufacturing. A combination of class work and laboratory experience is stressed.
Degree Options and Requirements
- Students who successfully complete a minimum of 30 semester hours in 3D Modeling and Design Technology courses may earn a career certificate.
- Students who successfully complete a minimum of 45 semester hours in 3D Modeling and Design Technology courses may earn a technical diploma.
- Successful completion of a minimum of 60 semester credit hours of course work in a 2-year program leads to an Associate of Applied Science.
Where a transfer to 4-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a MGCCC advisor.
All students completing a career or technical program must complete either the MS-CPAS (Mississippi Career Planning and Assessment System) or an MGCCC Board- approved Technical Skills Attainment assessment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
